Quiet Reflections

Nature amazes me for all of the lessons it holds. It greets us quietly with its beauty and patiently waits until we notice them, without ever holding judgements or expectations. I find that painting en plein air allows me to notice these lessons more easily. On this particularly challenging day, nature was showing me that I, too, needed to let go of my judgments and expectations. Subsequently, the process came naturally and the product, beautifully.
