It was a really cold winter night. The snow began to glint against the light of the moon. I set up my easel in front of the front door pane glass window and painted the scene 'en plein air'. The snow shows the shiny ice patches and the reflection of the moonlight in variations of cool blues and hints of warmer yellows. The deep dark shadows revealing the depth of night not touched by the brilliance of the full moonlight. Thank you for this opportunity to share this work.
